A great year for quality in the Vail Valley
Next Thursday, the Vail Valley Partnership will present the 2008-09 Destination Experience/Platinum Service Awards at a luncheon at the Vail Chophouse sponsored by the Beaver Creek Resort Company. As you can imagine, the uptick in service quality in this challenging year has been nothing short of extraordinary. Of the more than 90 participants in the program, 62 (nearly 65%) have achieved a mystery shopper service rating of 90 percent or higher. Congratulations to these winners and to their efforts to maintain such a high level of service quality throughout the year. This achievement takes commitment, inspiration, leadership and superb staff motivation and management, and demonstrates a thorough understanding of customer needs, demands and loyalty as well as the benefits that long-term service excellence and pride brings all of these enterprises. At the luncheon the top winners in the categories of retail, lodging, restaurant and consumer services will be revealed as well as the overall top customer service business for the year. It will be an exciting day and we hope it demonstrates our and the community’s appreciation for a job well done.It is businesses like these that set themselves apart, enhance the reputation of the entire destination and encourage visitors to come back again and again. To sign up for the Vail Valley Partnership’s Destination Experience service, and put your business at the top of the class, contact member services manager Suzanne Sloan, 970-477-4009 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
