VAIL, Colorado – Making a New Year’s resolution is simple; the tough part comes in keeping it. With so many resolutions focused on health and wellness, The Vitality Center at Vail Mountain Lodge & Spa has scheduled its special Ageless Vitality women’s intensive workshop for the time of year when most people give up: the end of January.From Jan. 29 through 31, The Vitality Center is offering a three-day Ageless Vitality intensive where practitioners will teach beneficial elements of health management. These targeted programs are designed to explore personal health challenges and introduce healthy lifestyle changes that impact future wellbeing.”The timing of our winter Ageless Vitality intensive is so important for those with resolutions for the New Year,” said Lisa DeKoster, director of The Vitality Center and the Spa at Vail Mountain Lodge. “We’ll arm participants with the tools they need to be successful. The Vitality Center can ensure you reach your goals this year.”Intensive workshops feature a body composition analysis, educational sessions focused on nutrition, stress reduction, weight management rather than dieting, balancing hormones and the most effective way to exercise to reduce central body fat. The workshop also includes cardiovascular training and coaching, strength training with practical applications for at-home implementation, guided meditation and yoga. And, each session includes the practice of Mindful Eating – a new way of approaching food that is life-changing, with health-minded meals prepared by Terra Bistro.Participants will experience a true learning retreat, centered on self-discovery and healthy fulfillment. Ageless Vitality intensives offer the opportunity to truly disconnect from the hectic pace of life today and learn to achieve the highest level of individual health and wellness.Cost for the Ageless Vitality three-day intensive workshop, including a body composition analysis, all lectures, training, workouts, stress release and meditation sessions, a private nutrition consultation with nutritionist and exercise physiologist Mary Horn, M.S. and the Mindful Eating meals, is $900 per person.
