Alpine Area Agency on Aging hosts community conversations in Minturn, El Jebel, Eagle
EAGLE COUNTY — The Northwest Colorado Council of Governments-Alpine Area Agency on Aging will hold Community Conversations to derive input for its four-year area plan on aging.
• 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5 — Maloit Park Senior Wellness Center, 1951 U.S. Highway 24, Minturn
• 11 a.m. to noon Thursday, Sept. 6 — El Jebel Senior Center, 0020 Eagle County Drive, El Jebel
• 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11 — Golden Eagle Senior Center, 715 Broadway, Eagle
At the Community Conversation, Alpine Area Agency on Aging staff will solicit recommendations for the delivery of services and support to promote aging and caregiving with independence and dignity in Eagle County. The Community Conversation is open to older adults, community leaders, aging service providers and the general public.
The Alpine Area Agency on Aging provides and connects the community with support and services that promote aging with independence and dignity for individuals 60 and older, their caregivers and grandparents raising grandchildren in their community of choice in Eagle, Grand, Jackson, Pitkin and Summit counties.

The acquisition extends a strategy of buying ski areas near big cities, with the hopes that local skiers will buy Epic Passes and visit the company’s owned and partner resorts across the country and world.
