Alpine Arts Center in Edwards celebrates anniversary with special rates on Saturday
EDWARDS — Alpine Arts Center is celebrating its five-year anniversary Saturday and inviting the community to join in the festivities. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., they are offering $5 off drop-in activities including clay sculpture, painting, crafts, paint pottery and more (regularly $12 plus materials). Drop-in activities are open to all ages, from toddlers through adults, and participants can work on projects of their choice in the art rooms or ceramics studio.
Then at 6:30 p.m. Alpine Arts Center is hosting a “Wine Glass Painting Cocktails & Canvas” class for $15 instead of the regular $40 pricing. Advanced registration for this customer appreciation event is suggested, as space is limited. Participants are asked to bring their own wine glasses and Alpine Arts Center will supply all materials and instruction.
“It is because of our loyal and amazing customers that Alpine Arts Center has been able to reach its 5th anniversary,” said Lauren Merrill, owner of Alpine Arts Center. “Art businesses are not easy in general, and in our valley it has been even more challenging because of the smaller population size. Saturday’s events are a thank you to our customers for supporting us and recognizing the importance of Alpine Arts Center for our community. We are thankful for this occasion to celebrate, and look forward to many more years of fun and creativity.”
In addition to all of the festivities today, Alpine Arts Center has a number of other community events and classes on the schedule for March, and they are also currently enrolling for kids and teen summer camps.
