Amsterdam native Alverado performs at Samana Lounge in Vail Friday
VAIL — Samana Lounge in Vail hosts two electronic music acts tonight: Amsterdam native Alverado and Ramona, who will open the show.
“The music will be great European-infused house music,” said show promoter Ross Cohen. “This is one of the most exciting shows for Samana to host this winter. Hosting two native European artists currently touring is rare for the Vail Valley.”
FROM ISRAEL TO IBIZA
Alverado started his career in 1981 and within six years was playing all over Holland. From there he joined the global club circuit, with gigs in Israel, Belgium, the United States, Russia, Norway, Switzerland, Croatia, Ibiza, Czech Republic and Germany. After eight years away from the stage but never far from the club floor, he’s back with a passion DJing in the clubs and spending time cooking up new stuff in the studio.
Opening up the night will be local artist Ramona. Since Ramona’s inception as a DJ, she has seen great success, including touring with Boom Box for more than two years. She’s a regular at a number of clubs around the country and performs at a number of festival’s coast to coast.
