EAGLE COUNTY, Colorado – Veterinarian Charlie Meynier, owner of the Eagle-Vail Animal Hospital and ER for more than 4 years, has recently acquired Steve’s Dog and Cat Repair in Edwards, along with his new partner and fellow veterinarian Jim Stortz, who has worked at the hospital’s emergency room for the past year and a half.

The expansion into Edwards will now provide two locations in the valley to serve pets’ general wellness, prescription, surgical, dental and emergency needs.

Along with the new location comes a new name – The Vail Valley Animal Hospital of Eagle-Vail and Edwards.

“Living in the Vail Valley has been a wonderful experience for our family,” Meynier said. “The friends we have made here through our clinic and children are like nowhere else on earth and we are proud to be a part of and serve this amazing community”

The Vail Valley Animal Hospital emergency room takes calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week with a full-time doctor on site from 6 p.m. Friday through 8 a.m. Monday, including weekends and holidays.
