Ann Coulter to appear at fundraiser
EAGLE COUNTY — The Eagle County Republicans have announced that Ann Coulter will lead off Victory 2016, which is the first event laying the ground work for the 2016 election.
“An Evening with Ann” is a fundraiser for Eagle County Republican Central Committee and will be March 25 in a private home but is open to the public.
A Connecticut native, Coulter graduated with honors from Cornell University School of Arts & Sciences and received her J.D. from University of Michigan Law School.
Coulter clerked for the Honorable Pasco Bowman II, of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, and was an attorney in the Department of Justice Honors Program for outstanding law school graduates.
After practicing law in private practice in New York City, Coulter worked for the Senate Judiciary Committee, where she handled crime and immigration issues for Sen. Spencer Abraham, of Michigan. From there, she became a litigator with the Center for Individual Rights in Washington, D.C., a public interest law firm dedicated to the defense of individual rights with particular emphasis on freedom of speech, civil rights and the free exercise of religion.
A regular on many TV shows, Ann is a regular Fox News contributor and the author of numerous books including “Never Trust a Liberal Over Three,” “If Democrats Had Brains They’d be Republican,” “How to Talk to a Liberal — If You Must,” “Treason: Liberal Treachery From the Cold War to the War on Terror.”
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to host Ann for this very special evening. That it will be held in a private home adds to the special quality this night promises to deliver,” said Kaye Ferry, chair of Eagle County Republicans. “Ann is not only coming here to share her insights, which are notoriously candid, but she will also be skiing for the week and spending time enjoying Vail.”
