WOLCOTT — The Eagle River Watershed Council has announced that Riverfest will return Saturday.

Riverfest is an annual celebration of rivers and a fundraiser for Eagle River Watershed Council. This year, following the theme of “discover your rivers,” the Watershed Council welcomes the community to join them in kicking off summer by rafting an iconic section of the Colorado River and continuing the festivities into the evening with a celebration in Wolcott.

Eagle River Watershed Council is partnering with Timberline Tours for a special guided rafting trip at a significantly discounted rate. Afterwards, celebrate local rivers at the Wolcott Yacht Club with a catered dinner, local craft beer, specialty cocktails, a silent auction, dancing and a special performance by bluegrass super-group Taarka, based out of Lyons.

There are three different ticket options. The River ticket includes the float, dinner and drinks and is just $95. The Dinner ticket, including dinner and drinks, is $50. The Drinks ticket gets ticket holders into the event to enjoy the music and festivities for just $25. All participants in the guided float must buy tickets in advance and will meet at the State Bridge boat ramp at 12:30 p.m. Doors open at the Wolcott Yacht Club at 5 p.m., dinner begins at 6 p.m., followed by live music at 7.

All of the funds raised will support the Eagle River Watershed Council in advocating for our rivers. Visit http://www.erwc.org/Events or call 970-827-5406 to reserve your tickets in advance.
