EAGLE COUNTY — The annual Ride in Remembrance, a tribute to fallen emergency service personnel, is slated for Thursday. The annual ride gathers motorcyclists, owners of custom cars, trucks and emergency vehicles from across the valley.

This year’s riders will gather at Freedom Park in Edwards starting at 10:30 a.m. The procession leaves Edwards at 11:30 a.m., headed for Donovan Park in Vail.

There will be a short ceremony once the last vehicle rolls in, including the presentation of the colors, the Pledge of Allegiance and an invocation from Avon Police Chaplain Pastor Tommy Schneider. The ceremony will be followed by lunch. For more information, email MGonzales@vail gov.com.
