Barre Rhythm creator offers certification
VAIL — For the first time, the Vail Vitality Center is offering instructor certification for the Barre Rhythm method, designed by strength and Pilates expert Angela Muzic, Saturday and Sunday
Barre Rhythm is a fusion of Pilates, yoga, weight training and ballet. The classes are set to fun, pumping music with a focus on teaching basic ballet form for proper alignment of the skeletal structure, creating the best environment to train the muscles.
“Barre Rhythm was created as an extension of my experience with the primary physical and health concerns of the everyday person and my expertise as a fitness trainer,” Muzic said. “The result is a fun, energetic, safe, fitness fusion technique that delivers results. I look forward to teaching this method to those hoping to inspire students with a fun, new option.”
The two-day certification focuses on proper biomechanics, sequencing, music selection and how teachers can help students achieve the physique they desire.
Cost for the two-day Level 1 Barre Rhythm Instructor Certification at the Vail Vitality Center is $599. Participants receive a training manual with full exercise and sequencing demonstrations.
While it will be postmaster Elizabeth Turner’s first busy season in Avon, it’s far from her first holiday-shipping crunch.
