Bright Future Foundation adds program manager

AVON — Bright Future Foundation in Avon recently added Holly Kasper-Blank as its new sustainability program manager. Each year, the nonprofit assists more than 600 individuals and families affected by domestic violence and sexual assault within Eagle County. Kasper-Blank researches funding opportunities for Bright Future’s prevention, advocacy, crisis intervention and recovery services to help empower those individuals.

“A majority of our financing comes from government and foundation grants, so it is crucial for us to have Holly on staff to research and write grants,” said executive director Sheri Mintz. “We also receive a large amount of funding from individuals, businesses and organizations in our community, and Holly interacts with those contributors.”

Overseer of Crisis Hotline

In addition to grant management, Kasper-Blank oversees the crisis hotline and volunteers and supports Bright Future’s clinical team. She recently worked as manager of children, family and adult services at Eagle County, and she has more than 14 years of experience working in human services fields including child welfare, early childhood education and adult protective services. She was awarded her master’s degree in social work from University of Denver in 2005 and holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of Texas at Austin.
