Chamber, town to host 20/20 event in Eagle
EAGLE — Residents, business owners and anyone else interested in “Building a Better Eagle” is invited to the Eagle 20/20 event planned Wednesday evening.
Eagle 20/20 is planned from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Eagle Town Hall.
Eagle Chamber President, Mick Daly will highlight the organization’s 2015 accomplishments and present its goals and objectives for 2016. Daly will also announce the newly elected chamber directors and present awards for the Business of the Year, Chamber Member of the Year and the Ambassador of the Year.
The Building a Better Eagle program will encompass a state of the town address from Eagle Mayor Yuri Kostick, followed by an update on the Eagle River Park project by Eagle Town Planner Tom Boni.
Continuing with the theme, Matt Scherr, marketing director for Castle Peak Senior Care, will discuss the project currently under construction at Eagle Ranch. Castle Peak is the only planned senior care facility in Eagle County and Scherr will provide insight into the medical services that will be available in Eagle and the county, particularly for those 65 years or older — the fastest growing population in the county and the state.
Following the evening’s program, the Eagle Chamber and the town of Eagle will host an after-party at Paradigms Restaurant located at 0343 Capitol Street.
