Club at Cordillera having record-breaking summer

EDWARDS — The Club at Cordillera General Manager Mike Henritze recently announced that, as of Oct. 1, The Club at Cordillera has hit 450 members — a new high-water-mark for the community. This increase in members comes just 18 months after the sale to Windrose Holdings LLC and the hiring of Troon Golf’s Troon Prive.

With the 2014 golf season concluded, Henritze gave a business update for The Club at Cordillera and its real-estate sales.

“Our goal in December of 2012 was to restore vibrancy to the club, which has unparalleled assets in an incredible resort,” Henritze said, adding, “450 members is a great start. What is more important to us is that we provide service, quality and family programs that continue to build not only on the membership ‘number,’ but also the very benefits that membership brings to families and to the community.”

Along with membership sales, closed real estate sales through Oct. 1 reached $26 million, with $18 million under contract and scheduled to close in the next few months.

“We sold seven homes last month,” said Slifer Smith & Frampton branch broker Patti Brave. “This is twice the amount we had in the same time last year. People are feeling really good about the activity and community of Cordillera.”
