EAGLE — In honor of its contributions to the community and its commitment to keep a beloved community institution in operation, Batson’s Corner Store/The Eagle Pharmacy received Business of the Year honors from the Eagle Chamber of Commerce earlier this month.

The organization’s annual awards were presented during the Eagle Vision 20/20 event.

P.J. Berg, of simpatiCOWORKING, was honored as the Chamber Member of the Year for creating a coworking space in Eagle. Taun Sanders, of Circle-A Auto Repair, was honored as Chamber Ambassador of the Year for bringing Wassailfest to the Christmas on Broadway festivities.



Jill Smirl, of The Life! Magazine, was the Business of the Year finalist for her efforts toward strengthening the community of Eagle Ranch. Matthew Howell, of Fas-Break Auto Glass, was a Chamber Member of the Year finalist for his support of the chamber’s golf outings and his consistent attendance at chamber events. Harry Taylor, of Send Out Cards, was an Ambassador of the Year Finalist for his leadership in organizing the Christmas on Broadway parade.
