• Today: Blood pressure checks at the Golden Eagle Senior Center, 11:30 a.m.

• Wednesday: Poker game at the Golden Eagle Senior Center, 1 p.m.

• Thursday: Cindy from The Hearing Aid Office in Glenwood Springs will be at lunch to answer your questions and provide helpful hints on how to talk with people who don’t hear well, itching ears, ear wax, and ringing in the ears. • Beginning Oct. 20: Parkinson’s Foundations exercise class is adding an additional class at 2:30 p.m. at Golden Eagle Senior Center in Eagle on Tuesdays. This class focuses on strength, balance, and flexibility. Exercises are enhanced to include cognition, vocal therapy, and fun. Not just for those with PD — this class is beneficial for anyone who would like to improve balance, flexibility and strength

• Oct 30: Join us for costumes and a tour of “Flo’s Haunted Closet” at the Maloit Park Senior Wellness Center. Please RSVP for lunch. 970-328-8831.

• Oct. 30: Halloween BINGO game and pot luck at the Golden Eagle Senior Center, 5:30 p.m. Come participate in a fun Halloween BINGO game and enjoy a delicious pot luck dinner. Sign up at the Golden Eagle Senior Center or by calling 970-328-8896. Costumes are welcome!

• Parkinson’s Foundations exercise class, 3:30 p.m. at Trinity Church in Edwards. This class focuses on strength, balance, and flexibility. Exercises are enhanced to include cognition, vocal therapy, and fun. Not just for those with PD – this class is beneficial for anyone who would like to improve balance, flexibility and strength.

• Non-medical foot care (toenail trimming and foot soaks), Golden Eagle Senior Center, third Tuesday of month, 9 to 12. Call 970-328-8896.
