Mondays: Parkinson Power Moves class will be canceled every Monday from April 25-June 13 while the instructor is out of town.
• April 27: Living with Alzheimer’s, 5 to 7 p.m. at the Avon Public Library. Join us for a conversation with people who are newly diagnosed or in the early stages. We will walk through a personal workbook together to help you learn about the disease and the steps you can take to help yourself. We will discuss what you need to know, what you need to plan, and what you can do as you navigate this chapter of your life.

• Parkinson’s Foundations exercise class, Golden Eagle Senior Center, 3 p.m. Class focuses on strength, balance and flexibility. Exercises are enhanced to include cognition, vocal therapy and fun. Not just for those with Parkinson’s disease — this class is beneficial for anyone who would like to improve balance, flexibility and strength.

• Full body exercise class at the Golden Eagle Senior Center, 9 a.m. This is a more challenging class that works all aspects of strength, coordination, balance and more. Some floor work incorporated as well. $2.00 suggested donation per class.
• Chair yoga, Maloit Park Senior Wellness Center, 11 a.m. Free.
• Grocery shopping, bus leaves Maloit Park Senior Wellness Center at 12:30 p.m.
