Upcoming events:

• Today: Caregiver/Memory Loss Support Group at the Eagle River Presbyterian Church in Avon, 4:30 to 6 p.m. Call 970-328-8831 for more information.

• Tuesday: Matter of Balance class begins an eight-week session at the Golden Eagle Senior Center, 10 a.m. $10 for the eight-week session, attend five or more sessions and receive a full refund. Call 970-328-8896 for more information or to register.

• Wednesday: Free guided snowshoeing each Wednesday. Be ready to go by 10 a.m. Snowshoes provided. Wear layered clothing. All levels are welcome. Call 970-328-8831 for more information.

• Tuesday and Wednesday: No exercise class at the Golden Eagle.

• Jan. 19: Martin Luther King Day; county offices closed, no exercise class at the Golden Eagle Senior Center.

Mondays

• Senior Spot, a program of Eagle Valley Senior Life, 1 to 4 p.m. A place for seniors to connect with others and engage in fun activities. • Full body fitness class, 9 to 10 a.m. at the Golden Eagle Senior Center. Incorporates seated and standing activities. Variety offered with hand weights, resistance bands, circuit training, balance challenges and cardiovascular training. Suggested donation of $2 per class. Call 970-328-8896 for more information.

Tuesdays

• Senior lunch, noon at the Golden Eagle Senior Center, $3 suggested donation for diners 60 or older. Rides available. Call 970-328-8896 for reservations and information.

• Seated stretch and strengthen exercise class, 11 a.m. to noon at the Golden Eagle Senior Center. General stretching and strengthening. Hand weights and resistance bands incorporated. Some limited cardiovascular work in this class as well. Suggested donation of $2 per class. Call 970-328-8896 for more information.

• Non-medical foot care (toenail trimming and foot soaks) at the Golden Eagle Senior Center, third Tuesday of each month from 9 to 11 a.m. Call 970-328-8896 for more information.

• Joint Relief Water Class, 10 to 11 a.m. at the Avon Recreation Center. $2 per class. Call 970-328-8831 for more information.

Wednesdays

• Grocery shopping, bus leaves Maloit Park Senior Wellness Center at 12:30 p.m.
