• Tuesday: Computer safety and security talk at the Golden Eagle, 12:15 p.m. Come learn about Internet, email, and overall computer safety from Eagle County’s IT Department.

Participate in The Longevity Project

The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.



• Friday: Book Lover’s Coffee Klatch at the Golden Eagle, 10:30 a.m.

• June 15: 1:30-3:30 p.m. “Perk up Your Protein” with Chef, Tracy Miller at Eagle River Presbyterian Church. Learn about the health benefits of protein, Menu: Bison Meatballs with Gorgonzola and Orange, Fish Tacos with Cabbage Slaw, Broccoli & Cheese Sandwiches, and Cold Blueberry Soup. Take recipes home. • Parkinson’s Foundations exercise class, 5:30 p.m. at Trinity Church in Edwards. This class focuses on strength, balance, and flexibility. Exercises are enhanced to include cognition, vocal therapy, and fun. Not just for those with PD — this class is beneficial for anyone who would like to improve balance, flexibility and strength.

• Non-medical foot care (toenail trimming and foot soaks), Golden Eagle Senior Center, third Tuesday of month, 9 to 11 a.m. Call 970-328-8896.
