Mondays

• Senior Spot, a program of Eagle Valley Senior Life, 1 to 4 p.m. A caring place for seniors to connect with others. Activities stimulate emotional, physical and cognitive functions. Eagle River Presbyterian Church. Visit http://www.evslife.org or call 970-331-5355.

• Full body fitness exercise class, 9 to 10 a.m. at the Golden Eagle Senior Center. Variety offered with hand weights, resistance bands, circuit training, balance challenges and cardiovascular training. Suggested donation of $2 per class. Call 970-328-8896.

Tuesdays

• Senior lunch, noon, Golden Eagle Senior Center, $3 suggested donation. Rides available. Call 970-328-8896.

• Seated stretch and strengthen exercise class, 11 a.m. to noon, Golden Eagle Senior Center. Incorporates stretching and strengthening of upper and lower extremities. Hand weights and resistance bands used. Limited cardiovascular work. Suggested donation of $2. Call 970-328-8896.

• Transportation for errands. Bus leaves the Golden Eagle at 2 p.m. Call 970-328-8896.

• Joint Relief Water Class, 10 to 11 a.m. at the Avon Recreation Center. $2 per class. Call 970-328-8831 for more information.

Wednesdays

• Senior lunch, 11:30 a.m. at VSSA/ Maloit Park Senior Wellness Center. $2 per meal for those 60 or older. Home pick-ups and drop-offs are available, depending on location. Call 970-328-8831 for reservations.

• Chair Yoga at Maloit Park Senior Wellness Center, 11 a.m. Free.

• Grocery shopping, bus leaves Maloit Park Senior Wellness Center at 12:30 p.m.

• Full body fitness exercise class, 9 to 10 a.m. at the Golden Eagle. A full body workout incorporating both seated and standing activities. Variety will be offered with hand weights, resistance tubing/bands, circuit training, balance and coordination challenges, and cardiovascular training. Suggested donation of $2 per class. • Poker game at the Golden Eagle on the first and third Wednesday of every month, 1 to 3 p.m.

Thursdays

• Move to Music, a program of Eagle Valley Senior Life, 1-4 p.m. 1:30-2:15 p.m. Limber up your joints, build strength and endurance, improve your balance and stretch while you move with music and have fun! • Senior crochet group, 1 p.m. at the Golden Eagle Senior Center. Come join us as we make blankets for local infants and young children. Open to veteran crochet-ers or those just beginning. Yarn provided.

• Parkinson Support Group, held the fourth Thursday of every month at Trinity Church in Edwards from 5-6 p.m. This meeting is for Parkinson patients as well as their family and friends who are looking for support and resources in a fun and uplifting atmosphere. Most meetings include some type of educational presentation.
