Eagle County welcomes new human resources director

EAGLE COUNTY — Eagle County is welcoming Jacci McKenna as its new director of human resources. She will begin her position Monday.

McKenna comes to the county from Kaiser Permanente, Colorado Region in Denver, where she served as senior director of human resources. Prior to that, she was the chief human resource officer for the Adams County School District in Commerce City and the director of employment services for the University of Colorado in Boulder.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Metropolitan State University of Denver and a master’s degree in organizational management from the University of Colorado-Denver, as well as Certified Compensation Professional and Senior Professional in Human Resources certifications.

MCKENNA’S NEW ROLE

In her new role, McKenna will be responsible for employee relations, benefits administration, training, compensation analysis and employee recruitment and retention, as well as other human resource functions.
