EAGLE-VAIL — The Eagle-Vail Golf Club will launch a pair summer junior golf programs, announced Ben Welsh, director of the Eagle-Vail Golf Club.
The PGA Junior League and First Tee Junior Golf Camps programs and practices begin May 31, with costs ranging from $20 to $130.
“We are so excited to get these juniors into the game of golf,” Welsh said. “The kids had such an amazing time last year and it’s a fun, social and inclusive opportunity.”
PGA Junior League programs
PGA Junior League is for golfers from around the valley, ages 9 to 13. They’ll play on a team coached by golf professionals and get to compete against other players on their level.
Teams meet once a week at the home course for coached practice and will play weekly nine-hole matches on competing teams’ courses throughout the Vail Valley. The cost is $175 per child for the summer, which includes uniform and all course fees.
The deadline for registration is Friday.
