ECO Transit to offer free late night bus on New Year’s Eve
EAGLE COUNTY — ECO Transit will once again offer free late night bus service outbound from Vail between midnight and 2 a.m. on Jan. 1 to accommodate New Year’s Eve celebrations. The regular winter schedule has the last bus departing Vail at 1 a.m.
As in years past, inbound bus service to Vail will be suspended at 10 p.m. on Dec. 31. The last inbound buses to Vail depart from Eagle Valley High School in Gypsum at 8:52 p.m., Chambers Park and Ride in Eagle at 9:02 p.m., Lake Creek in Edwards at 9 p.m. and Avon Station in Avon at 9:47 p.m.
Beginning at midnight, ECO buses will run outbound from the Vail Transportation Center as often as possible until approximately 2 a.m. The regular schedule will resume Thursday morning with eastbound service beginning at 5 a.m. and westbound service beginning at 6 a.m.
