Free dentistry day takes place Friday
VAIL — A local dentist is hosting his seventh annual free day of dentistry.
Dr. Paul Corcoran Family Dentistry’s annual event offers one of the following three services at no charge: One tooth extraction, one filling or a cleaning.
“If people are dealing with something that is disrupting their lives or leaving them in pain, we can help them even if they have no dental insurance or limited funds,” said Dr. Megan Danforth, a dentist practicing with Corcoran.
You have to make an appointment. They used to do it first-come/first-served, but people started getting there so early that they started making appointments mandatory, Danforth said.
The event runs five hours on Friday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Make an appointment by calling 970-476-3991.
