What strategy do you use to differentiate your business from your competition? Alliance Record Services is a locally owned business, with deep ties to the Vail Valley and utilizes that advantage to provide customized moving, storage and shredding expertise in order to enhance the local businesses.

What philosophy do you follow in dealing with your customers? What can your customers expect from you? Our customers are why we are in business. It is important for our company to make sure the customer satisfaction level is consistent with our philosophy of “simply the best.”

Tell us a little about your background, education and experience: In 2001, Andy Clark founded Alliance Moving Systems, which is affiliated with Allied Van Lines. In June of 2007, the company moved into its current 15,000 square foot warehouse, located near the airport in Gypsum. The business was expanded in 2015 to include record storage in the warehouse. Soon after, the shredding truck was purchased, and the shredding service was added.

What is the most humorous thing that has happened at your business since you opened? A shipment from another warehouse came in one time that had a big pack rat hidden in it. The employees chased the pack rat around in the trailer, all the while hollering and yelling and waving their brooms. The pack rat was finally corralled and let loose into the mountains behind the warehouse. It was hilarious!
