Kurlander joins NAI team
AVON — Bob Kurlander has joined the NAI Mountain team, bringing a background of land acquisition, site location and retail development.
Kurlander brings extensive experience with big box and national retailers to the NAI team. Also, the addition to the team will help drive lead generation by allowing NAI to offer more comprehensive demographic analysis to accurately depict the valley.
Kurlander is originally from Ohio and attended Tulane University, achieving a B.S. in mechanical engineering. Kurlander relocated to Miami in the early ’70s and began his career in real estate.
He became a commercial developer specializing in anchoring retail stores to Walmarts. He developed the first six “super centers” in Florida. During the course of 16 years, Kurlander completed 173 store locations for Walmart.
Kurlander is proficient in many facets of commercial real estate including assemblages, leasing, build-to-suits, office building development and tenant representation. Kurlander also launched his own commercial real estate firm, which is currently active in Melbourne, Florida.
Kurlander established a residence in Eagle County in 2005 and in 2010 sold his Florida home and became a full-time resident. Kurlander is extremely active and skis 100 days a year.
