Kurtz joins Colorado Mountain Express
EDWARDS — Colorado Mountain Express has announced that Jeff Kurtz has been appointed to the position of director of sales and marketing for the Edwards-based transportation company.
Kurtz will be responsible for leading all sales, marketing and reservations functions for the company. His primary focus will be developing strategic initiatives to enhance the overall guest experience and deliver strong business results. Kurtz will report directly to John Dawsey, vice president and general manager of Colorado Mountain Express.
“Jeff’s thorough understanding of (the company’s) operations, sales efforts, guest service focus, as well as his ability to genuinely connect with others will be collectively beneficial in his new role,” Dawsey said. “I’m confident that his disciplined nature will allow him to identify and manage challenges as well as opportunities to move the business forward.”
Kurtz has worked in hospitality and transportation for more than 20 years, including more than a decade with Colorado Mountain Express in a variety of sales roles between 1998 and 2009. He has also worked at Vail Resorts Hospitality as director of sales with the Vail/Beaver Creek Collection. Kurtz holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Hartford.
