MINTURN ¬タヤ Vail Mountain Coffee and Tea, one of the highest-altitude coffee roasters in the world, is bringing Craft Draft Nitro Cold Brew coffee to Colorado.

The company¬タルs Nitro Cold Brew coffee is cold brewed for 12 hours and then charged into five-gallon kegs under pressurized nitrogen. According to company founders Craig Arseneau and Chris Chantler, the nitrogen charge brings out all of the coffee¬タルs natural sweetness and creates a creamy, smooth finish, similar to a Guinness beer. The nitrogen method is the newest and most exciting trend in the era of cold brewed coffee.

¬タワNitro coffee has 45 percent more caffeine than the traditional cup of hot brewed coffee¬タン Arseneau said. ¬タワThere is a quicker hit of energy that has to do more with the brewing process.¬タン

Chantler added that ¬タワWe are thrilled to bring this new coffee experience to the valley that will drive coffee sales through the hot summer months.¬タン

Vail Mountain Coffee and Tea was founded in 1989 in Vail. The company was an early pioneer in Colorado¬タルs specialty coffee movement.

According to the founders, the deep bound moisture in Vail Mountain Coffee and Tea coffee vaporizes and expands at substantially lower temperatures due to the low atmospheric pressure. Roasting times and temperatures are unique, which creates deep, rich flavor profiles, intense aromas and smoother, less-acidic coffee.

Nitro Cold Brew is available in the Vail Valley at the Westside Cafe, Crespelle and at Chair 16 in the Ritz Carlton, Bachelor Gulch. For more information, please go to http://www.vailcoffee.com.
