EAGLE — Local schools will host their inaugural Fine Arts Showcase, recognizing young artists in all grades.
The events, one in Battle Mountain High School and another in Eagle Valley High School, featuring two student events recognizing young artists and musicians in art, music and technology.
Guest artists from the area will host workshops for students and interested adults.
“Thanks to a generous grant from the Sidney E. Frank/Halstead Foundation in 2014, the district’s art and music programs have grown to better align with state standards and arts teachers have had the opportunity to develop a collective vision for the future of the arts, both in Eagle County Schools and in their involvement with the greater community,” said Superintendent Jason Glass.
