What goods or services do you provide? We have just added shoe, handbag, tack, luggage, and golf bag repair to our services. We also recycle small household appliances at no charge.

What’s new or exciting at your place? Hank just made his first pair of custom shoes!

What strategy do you use to differentiate your business from your competition? Our competition did a great job, but has recently moved. We are glad to fill this niche service in the valley. Customers have been happy with our quick turnaround times as well.

What philosophy do you follow in dealing with your customers? What can your customers expect from you? We want to build long-term relationships with our customers. We do our best to provide high- quality service and products.

Tell us a little about your background, education and experience: Hank has always been good at fixing things. Valley Vacuums has been open for a year providing vacuum, sewing machine, and central vacuum service to the valley. Our hope is to be a convenient, one-stop shop for all of the valley’s service needs. Every community should have a place to bring boots, toasters, and vacuums to be repaired. We would like to counteract the planned obsolescence that we see becoming so commonplace. Why buy something new when you can fix what you already have?
