Manor Vail one of ‘most beautiful hotels’
VAIL — A list of the 20 most beautiful hotels in America was released this month by CNN, and Manor Vail Lodge was named to that list. The list runs the gamut from alpine lodges to luxurious oceanside resorts.
“Being named as one of the 20 most beautiful hotels is an honor,” Manor Vail general manager Bob McCleary said. “Manor Vail Lodge has long been applauded by our loyal guests as a unique property in an outstanding location. We are glad CNN has recognized that this is a special as well.”
Manor Vail Lodge was cited for its location on the banks of the Gore Creek and at the base of Vail Mountain, with units individually owned and uniquely decorated with fireplaces and scenic balconies. The recently renovated Fitz Bar & Restaurant was honored for its cuisine.
Of the 90 condominiums available to rent at Manor Vail, there is a blend of mountain modern and alpine-chic. All are outfitted with full-sized kitchens, spacious living area, cozy fireplaces, outdoor balconies with private grills and views of either Gore Creek or Vail Mountain.
Other highlights include a complimentary breakfast, two outdoor heated swimming pools, four hot tubs, a full service spa, underground heated parking, a newly renovated conference center and the Fitz.
The CNN list includes two properties from Colorado, both of which are part of the Destination Hotels Collection. The other honored property is The Gant Aspen.
