DENVER — Rep. Diane Mitsch Bush, who represents Eagle and Routt counties in the Colorado House, has been appointed vice-chairwoman of the House Transportation & Energy Committee by Speaker-Designate Dickey Lee Hullinghorst. Mitsch Bush will also serve as a member of the Agriculture, Livestock & Natural Resources Committee and the Health, Insurance & Environment Committee.

“Colorado’s transportation system has long been underfunded, with demands on it dramatically increasing,” Mitsch Bush said. “Having a robust, multimodal transportation system is critical to continuing our economic recovery.”

Mitsch Bush will begin her second term representing House District 26 when the House reconvenes in January. In the 69th General Assembly. Mitsch Bush served as a member of the Agriculture, Livestock & Natural Resources and the Transportation & Energy Committees.
