Slifer Designs announces staff promotions
EDWARDS — Two long-time Slifer Designs employees were recently promoted to senior designers. They bring almost 20 years of combined experience with them in their new roles.
Kellye O’Kelly, who has been with Slifer Designs for a decade, was promoted to senior designer last month.
“Kellye has traveled the United States with Slifer Designs, creating homes that are as elegant as they are functional,” company president Yvonne Jacobs said. “In the past several years, Kellye has proven herself to be an invaluable team member, taking on a leadership role both in the world of design and within our community.”
Karsh has been with Slifer Designs for nine years and has amassed an impressive portfolio of work ranging from traditional homes to sleek, contemporary penthouse suites.
Frances and her team were heavily involved in the design elements of the 2015 Alpine World Ski Championships, and she is also helping to bring a sense of home to Jack’s Place, the care house for patients being treated at the Shaw Regional Cancer Center.
“Frances has impeccable style,” Jacobs. “She can assess a client’s home and get a feel for what they hope to create — she then brings the vision to life.”
Both Karsh and O’Kelly have interior design degrees and know the ins and outs of the industry, attending conferences and seminars to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and techniques.
The designers’ projects have been featured in publications including “Mountain Living,” “Denver Life” and “New England Home.” Both of their projects have also been nominated for excellence by industry groups.

There are three keys to look at when deciding the bonus days: staffing, skier excitement and conditions.
