Vail Valley businesses sought for career fair

EAGLE COUNTY — The Eagle County Schools, Vail Valley Rotary Clubs and the Vail Valley Partnership are seeking businesses to participate in the Eagle County Career Fair for students and business. They are looking for 100 companies to be part of this event. Exhibitor space is limited. The fair will take place April 7.

This year, a number of changes are being implemented that will increase total student attendance and involvement.

This year, students will explore their future career options by using an interest inventory website to explore what are called the Holland types. After taking the assessment, the students end up with an interest type. This will help students learn more about different work environments and help them make the best job choice.

SIGN UP EARLY

Businesses have an incentive to sign up early. Return the Career Fair Application form by Friday to be eligible for a free TV8 live in-studio interview to promote the career fair and explain why your business has signed up. Five businesses will receive this benefit drawn from all complete applications received that indicate an interest.
