Vail Valley Partnership’s annual meeting is Dec. 17

AVON — The Vail Valley Partnership, the Vail Valley’s regional chamber of commerce, will hold its annual meeting Dec. 17 at Manor Vail from 3 to 4:30 p.m.

Prominent leaders throughout the Vail Valley will be present to discuss an overview of 2014 with an eye toward 2015. Mike Brumbaugh, Vail Valley Partnership board chair and owner of Venture Sports, will discuss the organizational overview of the Partnership.

Ceil Folz, president of Vail Valley Foundation, will provide an overview and preview of the 2015 Alpine World Ski Championships in February.



Ralf Garrison, principal of DestiMetrics LLC, will offer a look ahead at the winter season and booking trends from ski resorts across the western U.S.

Chris Romer, president and CEO of Vail Valley Partnership, will provide a destination sales overview and group sales impact. Romer will also discuss the visitor’s guide, the Lodging Quality Assurance program and the Partnership’s new websites.

Jill Lammers, vice president of Vail Valley Partnership, will preview chamber updates including new member benefits, enhanced member tiers, the ambassador program, merchant alliance and more.

Jeremy Rietmann, business development director of the Partnership, will provide updates on regional economic development.

Michael Brown, regional president of Alpine Bank, will provide an update on the EGE Air Alliance and efforts to increase air service to the Eagle County Regional Airport.
