Wagenknecht joins team at Vail Real Estate Group

VAIL — Longtime local luxury homebuilder and real estate consultant Eric Wagenknecht has joined Vail Real Estate Group in Cordillera.

A longtime resident of the Vail Valley, Wagenknecht specializes in luxury properties and new projects.

Wagenknecht brings more than 20 years of real estate construction experience to Vail Real Estate Group.

He has a lifelong relationship with the Vail Valley, having begun climbing and skiing here regularly as a child. While attending Colorado College from 1992 to 1996, he recalls, “I’d steal away to Vail any chance I got.” He moved here permanently after receiving his degree in political economy. While working in the construction trades, he did graduate work at the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business and eventually earned his general contractor license for both residential and commercial construction.

“The Vail Valley’s neighborhoods, buildings and architecture are dear to me,” Wagenknecht said. “I’ve lived and worked throughout the valley and understand its subtleties.”

“Eric’s passion for the Vail Valley, his wealth of local real estate and construction knowledge and his enthusiasm, dedication and diligence makes him an ideal addition to the Vail Real Estate Group team,” said Eric Lyon, the firm’s owner and managing broker. “Real estate isn’t just about showing property; it’s about establishing relationships and trust. Eric’s ability to relate to clients on a personal level is truly remarkable. We are extremely lucky to have him representing our company, the Cordillera community and luxury real estate throughout the entire valley.”

Vail Real Estate Group operates the only real estate sales offices for the Club at Cordillera. The firm opened offices this year in the Cordillera Valley, Mountain and Summit clubhouses.
