EAGLE — This weekend marks the return of one of this valley’s signature summertime celebrations when Eagle Flight Days rolls into town.

This year, the Eagle Flight Days theme is “A Night at the Museum.”

“We think this year’s theme is a great one because in can cover everything from dinosaurs to American history,” said organizer Roxie Deane. “The Eagle County Historical Society has been chosen as the parade grand marshal to honor all they group has done to preserve our local history.”

From the baby contest and pet show that launch the fun on Friday afternoon to the kids talent show that winds up the event on Sunday afternoon, Eagle Flight Days offers something for all ages and all interests. Most activities are planned at Eagle Town Park. Featured musical performers for Eagle Flight Days are the Nacho Men from 8:30 to 11 p.m. on Friday night and the Syndicate from 8:30 to 11 p.m. Saturday night.
