Annual fundraiser hosts Hong Kong Nights

EDWARDS — Organizers have announced Hong Kong Nights as the theme of this year’s annual fundraiser for the Edwards Interfaith Chapel and Community Center. The gala will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Edwards Interfaith Chapel and Community Center off of U.S. Highway 6 in Edwards. Funds raised by this fundraising gala support the Community Center aspect of the building as well as the Interfaith Chapel, focusing on the many nonprofits which use the facility. The goal is to support them by providing the space as affordably as possible.
Guests of Hong Kong Nights will be entertained by operatic arias performed by renowned performers from all over the country, and coming off stages from recent productions at the New York Metropolitan Opera, Los Cruces New Mexico Theater and San Francisco Opera.
Food and wine will be prepared and served by Beaver Creek chef David Walford, of Splendido Restaurant. The evening will offer auction pieces, including a signed helmet and jersey from Peyton Manning.
