UPDATE: Snow will end soon in the Vail area

Snow beginning to accumulate on Interstate 70 over Vail Pass

The winter weather advisory for Vail has been removed, as a storm that promised as many as 4 to 8 inches of snow left far less than that.

While snow showers are still possible through Monday afternoon, don’t expect significant accumulations at this point.

Vail Pass is under a winter storm warning until 3 p.m. Monday, but Interstate 70 was mostly dry as of the early afternoon.
