Antlers at Vail names director of conference services
VAIL ” Kati Schwabe has been named director of conference services for the Antlers at Vail, said Rob LeVine, the hotel’s general manager.
Schwabe, who joined the Antlers at Vail in 2004, was previously the conference services manager. Her duties will expand to managing group business.
The Lionshead hotel has been trying to build up its conference business and recently hosted the International Mountain Rescue Association, LeVine said.
“We’re happy to have Kati’s assistance with our growing business,” LeVine said. “Her experience in working with groups will be valuable in accommodating the needs of our guests.”
A Wisconsin native, Schwabe has lived in Vail since 2001. She has bachelor’s of science degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
“With our new board room and conference center we’re able to take groups anywhere from 10 to 100,” Schwabe says. “This allows us to host a very diverse range of groups from corporate board meetings to wedding brunches to a large medical conference.”
The Antlers at Vail completed a $20 million expansion in 2003. Antlers added four new meeting rooms and an executive boardroom for a total of 2,200 square feet of meeting space.
