Aria Club hosts two yoga workshops in Vail this weekend
VAIL — Join Aria Athletic Club & Spa for two yoga workshops taught by Meredith Cameron: Inversion Practice; and Foundations for Beginners. Aria will host Cameron on Saturday for Inversions from 1 to 3:30 p.m. and Foundations on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Cameron creates space for students to reach out, dig deeper and not take themselves too seriously.
WE ARE STRONGER THAN WE THINK
“Inversions teach us that we are stronger and more capable than we give ourselves credit for,” she said. “Come practice and play as we work through various inversions, learning appropriate foundation and how to move from center. Find a break through by breaking down inversion postures with various modifications and sustainable alignment. This workshop is more than being upside down. It is about learning to improve our level of confidence both on and off the mat and building awareness around how we talk to ourselves. This is your opportunity to ask questions, laugh, play and walk away with a helping of self-love and inner strength.” The cost is $40 for non-members ($35 for Aria members) for the workshop.
“Whether you are new to yoga or you want to deepen your practice, this is an opportunity to bring your curiosity to the yoga mat,” Cameron said. “Foundation is the key to any yoga pose, any job, any relationship, any home. Let’s practice how to be mindful and gentle towards our boundaries and edges. Alignment will be the focus, allowing us to carry forward a more sustainable, healthy practice both on and off the yoga mat.”
The cost is $30 for non-members ($25 for members) for the Sunday workshop.
