Arrowhead opens Saturday at Beaver Creek

BEAVER CREEK, Colorado ” Beaver Creek Mountain in Colorado will open Arrowhead and the remaining terrain in Bachelor Gulch on Saturday.

The resort will then have 1,600 acres of terrain open, including 139 trails and 17 chairlifts. Also on Saturday, Beaver Creek will begin running it lifts at 8:30 a.m.



Beaver Creek’s Cocoa and Corduroy service starts this Saturday at 9 a.m. at the top of the Centennial Express Lift (Chair 6). Skiers and riders can stop by and pick up the mountain report as well as tips on where to find the best groomed or powder runs.

The Mountain Welcome Tours get underway on Saturday and are available for intermediate to advanced skiers and snowboarders that want to explore and learn the mountain. Guests should meet at the top of the Centennial Express Lift at 10 a.m. for the complimentary two hour tour.



On Saturday, all of Beaver Creek’s mountain dining venues will be open for the season including Red Tail Camp, Broken Arrow at Arrowhead, Maime’s at the Landing, Zuppa Toscana in the village and Kids Corral.
