Art in public places

The town of Vail’s Art in Public Places is collaborating with the Vail Public Library to prominently display works of art above the library’s fireplace on a rotating basis. This is an opportunity for Eagle County artists to have a work on view for a period of approximately three months. Each artist is allowed to submit one work for each selection review. If selected, the work will remain on view from July 14 through Oct. 13. Information regarding the parameters, review process, deadlines and application may be found at www.artinvail.com. The application deadline for the next review is July 2. Contact Molly Eppard, AIPP Coordinator for more information meppard@vailgov.com or 970-479-2344.
