Art scene keeps truckin’ in Red Cliff

Red Cliff’s artists will show their work during the 6th annual studio tour Aug. 23-24 between 10 a.m. an 5 p.m. Balloons and signs mark the locations of participating galleries, including photographer Rob Brown at 101 Eagle St., watercolors, wreaths and jewelry by Sydney Summers and pottery by Marjorie Westermann.Also participating are sculptor Don Wilson (104 Water Street), Lin Janson Will and Bob Will with oil paintings and sculpture (524 Water St.), Joan Norris and Barb Bonnier, with oil paintings (159 Monument St.).Julie Sturt will show custom rustic furniture and accents at 289 Monument St., and at the Gore Range Science School (444 Pine St.), Kathryn Wheeler and David Loughry will show their paintings, drawings and bas-relief works. Finally, Stanton Morris features his hand-blown glass art at 584 Pine St.Food and refreshments will be available at Mango’s in Red Cliff, one of the town’s most relaxing hang-outs.
