VAIL — Galerie Zuger in Vail will back artist Adam Stewart for a live painting demonstration today from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Stewart often parallels his art with his life. The ever-changing seasons of Colorado provide a year-round display of art at its best, and he immensely enjoys the outdoors and is in constant connection with nature.
Stewart expresses himself through his paintings. His artistic creations represent life and nature at their most beautiful moments, and nature and its forces are his energy for art. Their constant change and unpredictability keep his art fresh and innovative.
“Nature is my muse,” Stewart said.
Each Piece is Unique
Approaching the canvas with one paintbrush in each hand, he creates multiple layers of paint that get spread over the canvas, creating texture and making each piece unique.
“I paint using the panorama of my own back yard, The Colorado Rocky Mountains,” he said.
Galerie Zuger is located on the second level of the Solaris Plaza in Vail Village. For more information, call 970-476-5619 or visit http://www.galerie zugervail.com.
Wildfires have become more numerous, bigger and more destructive in the past 40 years. That’s a big deal in a town surrounded by public land.
