Audi inks partnership with Vail Resorts as official vehicle
VAIL — Vail Resorts has partnered with Audi to be the official vehicle of Vail Mountain and Beaver Creek Resort.
Through this three-year deal, guests of Vail and Beaver Creek will be able to experience Audi through complimentary shuttle services, interactive ski and snowboard school courses, and through resort events such as the Audi Birds of Prey World Cup and 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships.
‘ICONIC BRANDS COMING TOGETHER’
“This is a great example of iconic brands coming together to form a valuable partnership consistent with our mission to create an experience of a lifetime for our guests,” said Chris Jarnot, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Vail Mountain. “Audi shares Vail Resorts’ culture of innovation and progression, and we’re excited to see this partnership come to life through on-the-snow activations, marketing and consumer-driven synergies.”
Components of the partnership will include:
• Guests staying at RockResorts properties in Vail or Beaver Creek (as well as the Vail Marriott Mountain Resort) will be able to enjoy complimentary shuttle service in Audi premier vehicles.
• Audi Kinderland, an interactive course for kids to ski through tunnels, around gates and other interactive obstacles.
• Audi will be the presenting sponsor at Beaver Creek Food & Wine Weekend in January and other select events.
Developers are circling Minturn, with hundreds of new homes being proposed, but town’s water situation will dictate their fate.
