AURORA, Colorado ” Police say alcohol and failure to use a seat belt were contributing factors in a one-vehicle rollover that killed an Aurora woman.

Authorities say the 23-year-old driver of a 1997 Kia Sportage was northbound on South Blackhawk Street in Aurora when she drifted off the road about 9:20 p.m. Thursday. The car then slid sideways before rolling.

Twenty-five-year-old Tonya Sanders was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. The driver and a second female passenger were treated and released from a nearby hospital.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, careless driving and vehicular homicide.

The names of the driver and second passenger have not been released.
