Avon bar patron demands Tuaca
Avon, CO Colorado
AVON, Colorado –A 56-year-old woman started threatening an Avon bartender last Thursday when he told her the bar was sold out of Tuaca, a vanilla-flavored Italian liqueur.
She told the man “there will be hell to pay if you don’t have Tuaca,” according to an Avon police report. Another bar customer offered to buy the woman a drink if she’d calm down, but she kept yelling at the bartender.
The bartender called the police, and the woman continued her unruly behavior when police arrived. Police questioned her in the bar and she kept saying “society is harassing me.”
Police took her to the Avon Police Department and questioned her, and later found out from her son on the phone that the woman has a drinking problem.
Police charged her with criminal trespass and drove her to the Avon hotel where she was staying.
