Avon man named university regent

AVON, Colorado ” Tom Grudnowski, a part-time resident of Avon, Colorado, has been appointed to a three-year term on Saint John’s University’s board of regents.

He began the term on July 1. Terms are renewable every three years, and board members can serve up to three terms. There are now 43 members of the Board of Regents.

Grudnowski retired from Fair Isaac, a national credit scoring agency, in 2007. He had been its CEO since 1999. Prior to that, Grudnowski was a managing partner with Andersen Consulting.

He graduated from Saint John’s University in 1972. He and his wife, Mary, split their time between Excelsior, Minn., and Avon. They have four grown children.
