Avon police seek help finding suspect in auto theft case
AVON — The Avon Police Department is seeking the public’s help finding a suspect in a motor vehicle theft that occurred March 12 at the Canyon Run condominiums. The suspect stole a vehicle from Canyon Run condominiums and proceeded to hit two vehicles in the parking lot. Subsequently, the stolen vehicle was found in the Shell station parking lot in Edwards.
The Avon Police Department encourages residents to remain alert in their neighborhoods, particularly during nighttime hours. Report anything unusual or suspicious to the police. Call 911 if you have a concern, and do not attempt to contact or engage a suspicious person. For your safety, an Avon police officer will make any necessary contacts.
