Avon Recreation Center offering new classes

AVON, Colorado – The Avon Recreation Center is now offering a more diversified yoga program, which will include restorative and athletic yoga in addition to its current yoga classes.

“We have always had great success with our Anusara inspired yoga classes, however, we saw the need to diversify our yoga program to better meet our member needs,” said Danita Chirichillo, fitness supervisor at the rec center.

Restorative yoga has been added to the regular schedule on Tuesday nights at 7 p.m. and athletic/power yoga will be offered every Monday/Wednesday morning from 7:15 to 8:30 a.m. The rec center will continue to offer Anusara inspired and Vinyasa flow yoga classes.
